Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate Cost and Duration

Coursera has three plans for this Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate

  • For 1 Month, they are charging $49.
  • For 3 Months, you have to pay $101.
  • And for 6 Months, they are charging $144.

According to Coursera, if you spend 7 hours per week, you can complete the whole program in 6 months. But, It’s totally up to you. As the payment method is monthly, so it’s better to complete it in less time.

If you want to complete this Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate in one month, then you have to spend more than 20 hours per week.

And if you want to complete it in 3 months, then you have to give 12 hours per week.

But again, it’s up to you. Don’t rush to complete the program in under a month. If you are not able to give full-time to this Course. No worries! Learn according to your pace and time. Because what you will learn throughout the course is important not the completion speed.

So, this is all about the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate Cost and Duration. Now, let’s see the Pros and Cons of the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate

What I didn’t like about Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate?

  • Limited recognition: The certificate may not be as widely recognized as some other cybersecurity certifications that have been established for a longer time.
  • Focus on Google tools: The program may heavily emphasize Google’s own cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Lack of specialization: The program aims to cover a broad range of cybersecurity topics, but it may not go into great depth or specialization in any particular area.

My Personal Suggestion

Now, I would like to clarify one thing which is very common in every learner. Many people think that after completing this certification program, they will be ready to land in the Cybersecurity field. But this is the biggest misunderstanding.

You have to work on projects with the skills you learned in this course and expand your portfolio with some other unique projects. Because honestly, this certification is not enough to get a job in the Cybersecurity field. You have to work on some good cybersecurity projects.
